Colossians 3:1-4; Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

Sometimes we get caught up still living in this world according to this world. Meaning; finances, where we live, transportation, etc. Like for instance, right now, we are in a season of moving. Today I was texting a brother about losing some of the things we have accumulated. At that very moment, God said did you forget already? See a year ago we lost our Expedition in Arkansas. It blew it's engine. We were stressed out about getting it home and the things we had to leave behind. Since then, over and over, he kept saying Trust in Me. Almost a year later, we have an even better suv and some of the things we lost we haven't needed. Today, my dad reminded me that it's all just materialistic. To Focus on things of heaven and not of earth. To go and do what and where we are sent. Most of all, Trust In Him.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, I leave you with this; remember to focus on the things of heaven and not on the things of this world. For your life, is with Christ Jesus, and your reality and your home is heaven. Setting your sights on the things of this world will bring you into a pit that can cause you to forget even for a moment that you are a child of God. Trust In Our Father God, for all our Hope and Faith is in Him.
