God's Word is More Than Guidance

Psalms 5 - I like this chapter, it’s a Prayer For Guidance, but it’s not like what you think. Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield. Now that, all comes with Guidance on what not to take part of and what we should be like of what’s in verses 4 - 9. We know that God does not take pleasure in wickedness, He hates all workers of iniquity. The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. Sometimes, sadly, we as children of God fall into the same things that we teach against and/or are against. The greatest thing about all of it, is that we are forgiven. The first part of v7 says it perfectly; But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your MERCY. Without His mercy and grace there is no forgiveness. Therefore, as we approach Him and ask for forgiveness, God will make His way straight before our faces. So many times in our lives we either take part in things we shouldn’t or we need direction. As simple as it seems; we make the key, the answer so distant or out of reach. The key, the answer is Jesus Christ. Allow yourself to have an encounter with Him, and I promise you, that your life will never be the same. The joy and peace that you will experience and shout from your lips, will be from the encounters you have with Him. You will never regret the love, the compassion, the servitude, and the relationship that you will have. I promise.

Joshua 10 - The Sun Stands Still. In life we have situations and circumstances in which we wish or even pray would end. It’s just horrible, and it seems that just when things can’t get worse or where it’s overwhelming that we can not bear it; it gets worse, even more overwhelming. We then feel beyond broken and we will be like Job and say why and what have we done etc to God. It seems like there’s nothing more that we want than for the Sun to go down. To pray for a new day that will bring a reprieve, joy, and peace. However, it’s like The Sun remains Standing Still. I am reminded in this chapter of what God’s Words mean. In the first part of v8, the LORD says to Joshua, Do Not Fear Them, For I have Delivered Them Into Your Hand. Now it’s talking about people coming against them, but God showed me that it is the same way with circumstances. So in the second part of the verse it speaks to me as such, Not one of any situations nor circumstances shall stand before you. That spoke volumes about just how much My God, My Dad loves and favors me. Not only that, but when you keep reading all the way to verse 11, it spoke to me as such, No matter what you think is awesome and grand of the situations and circumstances that you overcome; there is Nothing as spectacular and amazing of how much more you can overcome in any situation and circumstance with My Favor, My Blessing, and My Word. Another thing I love about this chapter, is that Joshua kept SPEAKING the LORD’s Word over himself and his people. “Do Not Be Afraid, Nor Dismayed, Be Strong, And Of Good Courage, For The LORD Your God Has Delivered Them Into Your Hand”. Therefore, brothers and sisters, Remember what God’s Word says about you, about your life, about your family, about everything. Let the day that The Sun Stands Still, be the day that you rejoice of what the LORD speaks over you.

We Love Y'all
